Attorney William Baird replies to Williston Manley, on the Beta Beta chapter charter withdrawal. Baird and Manley are both of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at St. Lawrence University, and it seems Baird is writing of a previous effort against their own fraternity. Baird alludes to the motivation behind the Beta Beta motion, that it had nothing to do with Mrs. Cowen. Manley is the editor of the St. Lawrence Plaindealer.
