This is a published copy of a letter sent by New York Sun Managing Editor and Regent of the University of the State of New York Chester Lord to Grand President Bertha Richmond. Lord expresses his indignation at the charges involved in the Beta Beta chapter charter withdrawal, and vouches for the university and the town. Richmond's reply is also available. This letter is included in a Beta Beta chapter pamphlet, also in the collection.
